Now you can finally sleep more than 2 people in your REVEL!

Set up the foldable Front Loft in minutes and use the extra space it provides to sleep, as a spot to hang out or as temporary shelf for all your sweet gear. The REVEL Front Loft can also be set up in different sizes, so you can still use the passenger seat while having additional space for storage.

And the best part...it folds up and stores under the dinette seat when it's not needed.

About this item:

  • The REVEL Front Loft is a foldable platform that suspends from 6 straps.
  • When set up, the maximum size of the Front Loft is 24" wide by 59" long (distance from window to window is 5'11"). The weight is limited to170 lbs.
  • With the appropriate size sleeping pad (see "Recommendation!" below), most everyone can find a good night sleep on it.
  • There are approx. 26" of space between the Front Loft and the overhead shelf.
  • The platform can also be set up only partially unfolded. In it's smallest size, it is 16" wide by 31" long.
  • The Front Loft itself only weighs 17 lbs. and due to its patent pending design is easy to set up and then also store away.
  • When not in use, the folded up Front Loft (it measures 16" x 31" and is only about 2" thick) stores under the dinette seat . You have to take out the felt covered pad (like Winnebago describes in the user manual to check the glycol tank) and instead replace it with the provided tray. You can still store the Winnebago kitchen countertop extension in the bench seat as well.

Does it require complicated installation?

  • No. In fact, it's very easy. However, before the first use you have to install 3 straps permanently. No need to drill holes, you'll mount these to the bolts above the overhead shelf that are already in your van.
  • No tools are required for the other straps. You'll put those up when you set up the platform and take them down when the platform goes back into storage.
  • You need a Philipps screwdriver to remove the felt pad from inside the dinette seat, as it is required to remove this pad in order to be able to store the Front Loft in it.

What's in the box?

  • All parts (Front Loft, tray in dinette seat, straps, mounting hardware)
  • A topper is not in the box (read the "Recommendation!" section next)

Recommendation!

  • The platform does not come with a sleeping pad.
  • We recommend the REI Co-op "Camp Bed Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad" as a sleeping pad (REI item #148193, Regular size). We like that it rolls up compact and can be stored in the overhead shelf towards the front. It's longer than the Front Loft, so you'll fold the end by where you have your pillow down between the Front Loft and the van's driver or passenger door.

Will it fit a 2023 Revel?

  • Winnebago changed the plumbing under the bench seat in some 2023 models, which won't allow the folded up Front Loft to be stored there. If you're handy, you can move the plumbing to make it work. Otherwise you can store the Front Loft on top of the overhead shelf. Reach out to info@revelbetter.com and we can explain more or walk you through the process.
  • The Front Loft itself can still be set up in the cab area in the 2023 Revel.

Safety First:

The REVEL Front Loft was designed and manufactured with your safety as our top priority. Safety is a cooperative effort between us as the manufacturer, and you as the user. Please read and consider all warnings listed below before making your purchase.

Safety Warnings:

  1. Follow all steps exactly as described in the provided installation and user guide.
  2. Do not allow children under 6 years of age on the Front Loft and always supervise children that are 7 years of age or older when using the Front Loft.
  3. Periodically check that all permanently installed straps are still in their proper mounting position and all mounting connections are still tight.
  4. Ensure all straps and hooks that you set up for use are properly attached to the Front Loft before each use.
  5. Do not allow jumping on or onto the Front Loft.
  6. Do not substitute parts, contact us instead for replacement parts.
  7. Do not sit or lay down on the Front Loft without a sleeping pad. If you want to sit or lay down, use a 24" wide sleeping pad. Since most sleeping pads are typically longer than the Front Loft, tuck one end between the Front Loft and the door by which your head will be located when you sleep.
  8. Use of a nightlight may provide added safety precaution for a child using the Front Loft.
  9. When sleeping on the Front Loft, set up the dinette table to prevent accidentally falling off the Front Loft. only one person should sleep on the Front Loft at a time.
  10. Do not exceed the weight limit of 170 lbs.
  11. Fold and unfold the Front Loft gently and watch for any potential pinch points.
  12. Securely stow away all straps when the Front Loft is not in use and when you are driving.
  13. Never hang any parts of the Front Loft (hooks, belts, ropes, bungee cords, etc.).
